Chef Tom Wiley is the Executive Chef and COO of Wileywood Investments Inc. overseeing the operations of Gepetto’s On the Lake and Wileywood Restaurants.
Chef Tom has an impressive culinary career beginning in 1987 in the Twin Cities. His focus and training began with hotel dining and catering for the Radisson Hotel Corporation. Earning a degree in Culinary Arts in 1995 from Johnson and Wales University, Chef Tom then joined a successful restaurant company in the mid-west working as Executive Chef and General Manager for six years. He has held the position of Executive Chef for a major Radisson Hotel and Conference Center and other key chef and management positions with mid-west companies.
Chef Tom founded Wileywood Investments Inc., with his first restaurant Gepetto’s On the Lake in 2005, adding Wileywood Restaurant in 2007.
Chef Tom’s wife is Polly and they are the proud parents of four children, Rachel, Joshua, Taylor and Isabelle.
The Wiley’s attend Faith Evangelical Free Church in Spirit Lake and also have a passion for international missions working with STEMM (Siouxland Tanzania Educational Medical Ministries) based in Sioux City, Iowa.
Chef Tom and his family follow their calling for helping the people of Tanzania, East Africa by traveling to Africa annually and using their personal and business resources for fund raising projects towards education and orphanage projects.
